The Last Hug.....

It is the story of a family of a wild mammal. His mother was hit and injured by a vehicle early this morning. The mother, who was bleeding at the side of the road, got trapped in the swamp. What a terrible fate she had. Her two infants, who appeared about 4 – 5 months old, sat next to their mother. The poor calves could neither speak nor get her out of the swamp. He could see his mother with a poor face. Their eyes were full of affection for their mother. Her eyes reflected her love for them, even more in this situation.



It was approximately 6:30 a.m. We left the tent early in the morning and went to work. After a few moments, we stopped by. We stopped the car and watched for a moment. At first, we were happy to see this mammal. However, our happiness did not last long. We were like his calves, unable to do anything. The only difference between the calf and us was we were able to speak. We were able to report to the rescue. Then we followed our work and walked to the forest.


He had no idea where his mother had gone and why she hadn't returned yet. At least he was pleased to see his mother in the morning. He couldn't see his mother anymore. He couldn't see her nearby. We were returning from the forest around 7 p.m., taking the same road. He had a poor sad face, and he was lost. It felt like he was waiting for someone. He had no idea what we already knew at the time. She was no more. He was broken. We only saw one of the two children at that time. Although he couldn't speak, we could hear him crying, he looked emotional. He, too, was incapable of surviving now. It was quite difficult for such a young mammal to thrive in wild habitats among other wild predators. We were so disheartened, we couldn't watch that poor animal, thus we departed.


I still remember his sad, shattered face, the face he wanted for his mother. A family here was separated, though the incident took place unknowingly.


Let's drive safely on the road. Road collisions can result in the deaths of both humans and animals. Whether it's a human or an animal, someone, somewhere, is undoubtedly waiting for their loved ones, from deep within their hearts, with so much love......

सन्देशको बिहे

  (ठट्यौली) ठूलो हलको एउटा कुनाबाट कसैले भन्यो, “सन्देश, अब तेरो बिहे खानु पर्छ है, छमछम नाच्न पर्छ ।” आवाज आएतिर फर्केर हेरेँ । अनि, मनमनै सोचेँ, अन्त नाच्न दिँदैनन् कि क्या हो उहाँलाई ?  की त्यस्तो नराम्रो नाच्नुहुँदो रैछ र उहाँ ?  जे सुकै होस्, माया चाहिँ धेरै गर्नुहुँदो रैछ मलाई । आफ्नो नाच देखाउन पनि मेरै बिहे कुर्नपर्ने उहाँलाई ।  फेरी अर्को मनले सोचेँ, उहाँको छोरा पनि त मेरै उमेरको पो हो त । उसको बिहेको लागि चाहिँ किन नाच्न नखोजेको होला फेरी । त्यस्तो नाच्नै मन भए त आफ्नै छोराको बिहेमा नाचे पनि त हुने हो नि ।  तर, यसो भन्दै गर्दा आफूले आफैलाई आफ्नै बिहेदेखि पर भगाउन खोजेको त होइन मैले कतै ?  तर, म नै किन ? उहाँले त अस्ति मेरै उमेरको भाइलाई पनि ' बिहे चाँडै है ' भन्दै हुनुहुन्थ्यो क्यार । मैले त मनमनै सोचिसकेर निर्णय पनि गरिसकेँ, उहाँलाई छिट्टै नै कुनै एउटा योग शिविरमा लैजान्छु लैजान्छु । योग शिविरमा ध्यान गर्न मज्जैले सिकाउँछन् । नाच पनि त एक किसिमको योग हो क्यार । योग शिविर जान मन नभएको खण्डमा आफैले हार्मोनियम किनिदिएर सिकाएरै छोड्छु । ताकी साँ...

दशैँलाई फर्केर हेर्दा

दशैँ आउन अब १०० दिन बाँकी भएपछि भित्ते पात्रो मार्फत गन्ती गर्न सुरु हुन्थ्यो । सानैमा घर छाडेका हामी तीन जना (ड्याडी, अङ्कल र म) काठमाडौँ आएका थियौँ । ड्याडीले सायद मनमनै गन्नुहुँदोहो, हामी दुई भने दिन नबिराई गन्ती गथ्यौँ । घर जाने अब भोलिपल्ट जस्तो हुँदा भने रातै भरि निन्द«ा पर्थेन, मलाई आफूुसँग लान छुटाउँछन् की भनेर । घर पुग्न जसोतसो त्यो बेला ३ दिन लाग्थ्यो । घर जान पाउँदा को नै पो खुसी हुँदैन होला र ? हामी तीन पनि त्यति नै खुसी हुन्थ्यौँ । सबैकी आफ्नी आमा घरमै हुनुहुन्थ्यो । गुँदपाक, मीठा चकलेटहरु र कही थान लत्ताकपडा लिएर जाँदा घरमा सबै खुसी हुन्थे । सायद केही नलगेका भएपनि खुसी हुनेथिए । दशैँ आउने, घरका मान्छे आउने, जमघट हुने, अहो, त्यो पो आनन्द । एका बिहानै बाजे नुहाउन जाने, बज्यै पानी लिन जाने, मम्मी घाँस काट्ने जाने । केही बेरमा सबै फर्केर आउँदा पकाउने दाउरा पनि सँगै आउँथ्यो । अनि पाक्न सुरु हुन्थ्यो । बुढापाकाले भन्ने गर्छन् की आगोमा पकाएको सारै मीठो हुने भन्दै । म बुढापाका भैसकेको त थिइन तर राइस कुकरमा भन्दा मीठो भने जरुर पाक्थो । कुनै एकदिन सल्लाह गरेर बिहानै ४ बजेतिर बज्यै,...
